TRANMERE Rovers face Liverpool FC in a pre-season friendly at Prenton Park tonight.
Rovers manager Micky Mellon has added four new players to his squad in Ollie Norburn, Jack Dunn, George Waring and James Alabi, and it is expected they will feature at some point during the game, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
It will be the second summer in a row that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has brought a strong side to Birkenhead.
The Reds won 1-0 in July last year courtesy of a Danny Ings goal in the second half.
That game saw Andy Cook and Connor Jennings make their first appearances in Rovers shirts.
Like last year's game, home fans will be located in the Cowshed Stand, with Liverpool fans situated in the North Star Environmental Kop Stand.
It is part of a busy pre-season of friendlies for Micky Mellon's side as part of preparations for the 2017/18 season which starts with an away game against Torquay United on Saturday, August 5.
Rovers pre-season campaign continues against Cammell Laird on Saturday, July 15 and Ashton United on Saturday July 22. Both games start at 3pm.
They face Fleetwood Town on Tuesday July 25, kick-off 7.30pm, while Bury come to Prenton Park three days later on Friday, July 28. Both fixtures kick-off at 7.30pm.
