Reece Orton began the campaign with a four-goal salvo, Jamie Mitchell netted a brace and Jason Stephens and Liam Bell added a goal apiece in a dominant performance.

North Wirral Saints eased home 6-0 against another new team Wallasey Wolves thanks to Callum Sait netting a treble and Mike Manser, Aaron Cross and Manny Mithie-Nelson all adding singles.

A goal apiece from Joe D-Henin, Ryan Day, Mike Cavanagh and Dillon Thomas saw Eastham Rangers Colts ride to a 4-0 victory over Delta Colts Parkfield.

Wallasey Wanderers held a 1-0 lead at the break versus Trident, but an equaliser from Caston Ball gave the visitors a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

League new boys Rockpoint FC eased home 3-1 versus a below strength Vineyard who had Alex Moody as their only scorer.

On target for Rockpoint were Stephen Teale, Stuart Hardman and Stuart Payne as they improved in the second half.

Action from the No4 Pacific Road Bistro First division saw Nelson FC sail home to a 6-0 success over Upton FC due to doubles from Sam Hunt and Ben Dunn, plus singles from Kieran Sait and Lewis James.

Also scoring six were PLCCFC as they beat Phoenix FC 6-2 with goals from Anton Jolley and Adam McComb allied to a four-goal blast from Paul Greenwood to give them a great start.

Steve Wilson fired a fine double in reply for Phoenix.

A five-goal thriller between JASGA and Bromborough Town saw the latter take the points with a 3-2 victory as Joe Skinner, Hayden Metcalf and Joe Cooper found the net, with the replies coming from Stewart Speed and Adam Walker.

Joe McGee was a two-goal hero for Poulton Vics as they defeated Eastham Rangers 4-1, with Dan Banicale and Steve Kane completing their goal-getting and Martin Marshall grabbed the lone response in a good game.
