GLOBE readers have posted messages of condolence after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision on the M53 Southbound slipway at junction two (Moreton Spur).

At around 7.25pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to Junction 2, at the entrance to the southbound carriageway, to reports that a white and silver Suzuki motorbike was in collision with a barrier.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, passed away at the scene.

His family have been informed. An investigation is underway, including CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries.

Readers took to our Facebook page to express sadness at the motorcyclist's passing.
