I WOULD like to thank all at Sainsbury's Prenton who recently raised more than £500 for Stick 'n' Step by doing an eight-mile trek.
We are the charity of the year for Sainsbury's and appreciate all their support.
Stick 'n' Step, which celebrates its 10th anniversary next year, is for children with cerebral palsy.
Seventy children, ranging in age from six months to 18 years, come to us twice a week for intensive, individualised conductive education therapy, all free of charge.
Here they learn to expand the boundaries of their disability.
Some learn to walk; some learn to run.
All of our children, though, gain enormously in self-esteem as they learn life skills and more that they and their families never thought possible.
As we receive no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of people like the staff at Sainsbury's Prenton to keep our doors open and to continue to provide the quality therapy and support for our children and their families.
Kerry Roe-Ely, Fundraiser, Stick 'n' Step.
