I REFER to your recent article on the condition of the Churchyard at St Barnabas in Bromborough.
I find it incomprehensible that nine churchyards owned by the richest landowner in the country should be maintained by Wirral council tax-payers.
In this era of austerity and council cuts, shouldn't the Church of England be maintaining its own land, instead of off-loading it on to the council?
