Shame about Birkenhead's empty shops
I WAS recently out shopping in Birkenhead and was struck by the number of of empty shops I saw around the town.
It seems a shame that more can’t be done to get these empty units back into action.
And I don't mean adding yet another charity shop to the apparently endless number already there.
