WHOEVER it was who wrote in saying that fines for dropping cigarette butts should be £200 was wrong because council tax demands should include everything, and I want pavements, roads and parks to be clean and safe like everyone else, so people who leave empty beer cans and bottles, and smashed bottles, can afford a fine.
They are life-threatening, and you find dog waste on pavements and in parks, which is not only filthy and disgusting but again if people, more so children, if they slip or fall, can cause infection or disease.
Beer cans and bottles, and smashed glass and dog waste, these people who should get fined for, are they saying someone’s life is only worth £200 because all the things I’ve wrote about above are life-threatening?
