Closure of Wirral job centre is just another trick

Presumably you will be issuing travel passes to would-be claimants in order to enable them to sign on.

Bus and train fares are not cheap, especially if you have had your money sanctioned.

No doubt this is another trick up your sleeve to discourage us.

I once had to attend Liscard Job Centre and walked across Wirral in the pouring rain on a winter's day to get there.

I arrived soaked to the skin and freezing cold.

Did the staff care?

No. I wasn’t even allowed to use the WC; I was told the toilets are not for public use. So I take it we are not seen as members of the public – not human beings.

What a great way to treat your fellow man.
