ON May 26 this year I was knocked down by a car while riding my bike on Gayton Road, Heswall.
Without the on-the-scene actions of local people I’m utterly convinced the consequences would have been much more severe.
I am receiving long-term treatment for a broken neck. Unfortunately, I have no names or addresses of the people who helped, in particular a lady runner who arrived at the scene and took care of me. I would like via this letter to convey my sincere thanks to all concerned.
