I WOULD like to say I am fed up reading about people writing about dog muck.

I am a responsible dog-owner and walk my dog on a regular basis on the Bridle Road playing field.

It's a disgrace at the weekend when the football teams have have been playing, with the mess they leave behind with plastic bottles etc.

It should be up to parents and team managers to make sure their team clears up their own mess.

My father, many years ago, ran a children’s football team and they were fined if they left a mess on the pitch.

Maybe this should happen now and they won’t be as quick to leave litter.

They most probably don’t live in the area, that’s why they don’t give a damn.

You would think they would be more considerate to the team that will be using the pitch after them.

Maybe it’s the generation of today.

There is no respect for anything or anyone nowadays.
