I CAN scarcely believe the roads leading to Moreton Cross roundabout are once again blocked with traffic crawling along at precisely no miles per hour because of yet more roadworks.
It can't be more than a couple of weeks since they had these roads up for something or other.
And once you do manage to get past the cross, half-a-mile along there's yet another set of works causing a huge bottleneck to the Bidston bypass.
This lot sprung up just hours after yet another set of roadworks there were cleared away.
Is there a reason why this keeps happening in Moreton?
Is there some sort of seismic fault-line running through the town that the council doesn’t want us to know about?
We should be told.
