WITH the shedding of leaves and the absence of staff to sweep them up as used to happen in previous years, the local pavements have become quite treacherous.

This has prompted me to put my feelings on the matter into words.

Falling leaves are turning our pavements into woodland paths.

They blame it on the cuts.

Mr Cameron tends not to use pavements in case he stumbles into joggers.

We want our pavements back.

A R Beddow, Oxton.
