I HAVE read many letters about cyclists on pavements, but am I the only pedestrian who has been almost ‘mown down’ more than once by primary school children on their way to school on their lethal scooters?
‘Mummy’ is usually a few hundred yards behind – sometimes shouting ‘wait at the main road’ while checking her mobile phone.
The little darlings scoot along like bats out of Hell, oblivious to others in their path.
Can I sue the parents if I get an injury?
These metal scooters are lethal!
Pavements are for pedestrians.
Make them walk, as we had to do, and teach the whole family some manners please.
Name and address supplied.
