TO all the staff on Wards 33 and the Cardiac Care Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital. My husband has just spent the last five weeks of his life in the hospital – mainly in the heart wards – and, as you know, finally went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, May 14.
I can’t begin to express my heart-felt thanks for the love and care shown to him by all – dedicated doctors and nurses who did everything possible with their expertise and very real kindness – right down to the lovely tea makers and cleaners who made us (myself and the family) so welcome as we sat with Denis for long periods. Thank you so much, each and every one of you.
Folks are so quick to criticise but Arrowe Park is a star in my book.
I cannot praise you all enough and I am so glad that we live near such a wonderful hospital.
Irene Pendlebury, Greasby
