WITH reference to the student who had his hair cut too short and was barred from school; over the years we've heard many stories relating to young people "making a stand" against the rules, and we are bored with it.

If a pupil decides to go against the rules ... no matter how petty those rule may appear ... why do parents then blame the school for preventing the student for continuing an education?

Rules are for everyone, and mainly for the protection of us all.

It’s the lad's fault, no-one else’s.

Grow up, grow your hair, get back to school – and please respect authority.
