Monologues Evening!

Wirral Bookfest 2009

The second annual Wirral Bookfest looks set to be a great success. The events program offers talks by Viking author Steve Harding, and murderous tales from authors Margaret Murphy and Martin Edwards.

Riverside Writers next meet on August 24th, at 7.30pm in West Kirby Library when Gary Smailes from Bubblecow, a Wirral-based editing and author mentoring company, will visit to talk about what publishers want, how to professionally submit MS to publishers, and what his company offers.

Editor Visits Writers!

The next meeting of Riverside Writers will take place at 7.30pm on Monday, July 27th at West Kirby Library. We will be joined by editor Maurice James (of the Coast to Coast writing competition) who will talk about his work and the kind of things which editors look for in submitted manuscripts.
