FOR the last 20 years since I retired I have not been able to enjoy a walk along beaches, country parks and even my local Arno Rose Garden because of lazy dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs.

I watched people drawing up in their cars with two to three dogs, let them do their mess then drive off again - leaving the mess behind.

If we went back to every person who has a dog and pay a licence fee this would pay for more dog wardens if you can not pay a licence then how can you afford to pay for two to three dogs food?

All over the world, particularly in New Zealand and Australia, no dogs are allowed on beaches also 90% of all parks have seats, benches and also swings for the children and dogs must not be on beaches at all times.

I’m so looking forward to be able to go for a walk again where there is no dog muck on my shoes.
