AS a Labour Party member I have sat patiently listening to local members and elected councillors at various meetings searching for answers to important questions relating to this Labour council/venture capitalist led project the Hoylake Golf Resort but unfortunately to no avail?

It is, somewhat, strange that some local party members seem to avoid any mention of this land grab project?

Also I'm rather concerned that, in a recent email from Phil Davies, he did not know why this was omitted from the recent Labour Party election leaflets and literature?

Therefore I beg to ask if this golf resort is so beneficial to the people of Hoylake and Meols why was this project omitted?

Surely, this project to build 200 millionaire houses and apartments on our greenbelt only goes to emphasise that this council is devoid of any green credentials whatsoever because if they dropped this Golf Resort Project and refused any development on our greenbelt they would surely increase their share of the vote and retain the natural beauty of our green spaces?

Could it be that the online petition "No to Hoylake Golf Resort" being now well over 4000 signatures against this housing development has subdued the local Labour Party rhetoric?

I would be very much interested in any written responses to my observations about this project to be respectfully and clearly printed in the letters section of the Wirral Globe for all to see and openly discuss with a view to try and protect our greenbelt from unnecessary development and exploitation.
