MISCHIEF Night and Halloween are just plain ridiculous now.
Why should I, and many others I have spoken too, spend our evenings terrified of damage to our property or unwanted visitors to the door.
I am entitled to live in peace and feel safe in my own home.
Yet I don't.
I read with hilarity of Hubs and stay safe advice yet I see no real action being taken.
Never mind "tweeting" about taking in your wheelie-bin, how about getting a grip of these idiots.
Not so long back we heard of the special measures taken because of anti-social behaviour around Angela Eagle's office.
Yet on Monday night it was all kicking off at McDonald's Liscard, yet not one police office or security guard was anywhere to be seen.
I would be interested to know what special plans were in place for those evenings by the agencies.
If there were any, well they just didn’t work.
It's all very well putting an exclusion zone around the North End but the culprits just went elsewhere and caused grief to another area.
I am fed-up to the back teeth of feeling scared in my own home but no-one seems the slightest bothered about this.
There are thousands of people now dreading these nights every year.
I watched in horror on social media as person after person reported damage to cars, windows and general mayhem around Wirral.
This is not mischief.
This has gone too far.
No-one should live in fear.
