PLEASE could I pass on my thanks to a Good Samaritan through the medium of your paper.
On Wednesday, May 31, my husband and I were in Wallasey Asda car park with a flat battery, the windows locked open and rain dripping into the car.
We had already waited over two hours for the RAC to arrive and I was extremely anxious as we needed to leave Wallasey by 5pm for Manchester Airport to pick up our daughter coming back from Australia.
Just after this time, a man returned to a small van parked beside us and offered to help start the car, but as he began to do so, the RAC arrived.
In the confusion that followed, I did not get his name or remember any signage on the van, but I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him for his kindness, and his willingness to help two complete strangers. We will not forget it.
