MIDFIELDER Steve Jennings has rejoined Tranmere Rovers on loan from Port Vale until January.
The 29-year old is now in his third spell at Prenton Park after starting his career in the youth system at Tranmere.
He made 167 appearances for Rovers between 2003 and 2009 before joining Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League.
After a spell at Coventry City, Jennings returned to Tranmere last season and made a further 25 appearances for the Club.
He joined Port Vale, who were then managed by Micky Adams, in the summer and has made six appearances for the Valiants.
Manager Micky Adams said: "I'm really pleased to bring Steve back to Prenton Park.
"He's a hardworking midfielder with a fantastic work ethic and desire to win. He knows the Club inside out and will be a good addition to the dressing room.
"I’m grateful to Port Vale for letting Steve join us on loan."
Jennings will be available for Saturday’s home game against Stevenage.
