Oak Tree held New Ferry to a 2-2 draw with Paul Lambert grabbing two to keep up his brilliant end of season form. Tony Cudge and James Diable were on target for the Ferry.

In Division Three Sea Dog kept up the pressure on leaders Comecon with a healthy 4-2 away win at Ellesmere Port.

A Mike Hulligan strike for Millcroft still wasn't enough to defeat Shaftsbury C who had McIllroy at the double to claim a 2-1 win.

Halfway Prenton inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Primrose Celtic. Stuart Thomas hit the Celtic reply after Jay McKay (2), John White and Ste Mills had the Prenton boys ahead.

On Wednesday night Queens Park edged out Wallasey team Primrose in the final of the Wirral Premier Cup after goals from Anthony Gardner and Ste Abbott produced a 2-1 win.

The Queens completed a cup treble after already claiming the Veronica Conway Cup, the Cheshire Sunday Cup and the Wirral Premier Cup.

The Towers added the Presidents Cup to an already won League title on Thursday night as goals from Mike Vernon and Craig Smith edged out Argyll in an end to end final. Paul Tabiner had given the Argyll hope with a great equaliser.

The Dock eventually crossed the Premier Division finish line, and boy did they do it in style with a thumping 4-1 win away at rivals Woodchurch FC.

Gary Reay again came up trumps with a delightful hat-trick before Ian Brunt completed the rout with a steady finish to seal the League crown. Rock Ferry warmed up for their Houlihans Cup final with a narrow 2-1 win over a battling Brow. Gary Knight had the away side ahead before Williams and Stewart grabbed all three points for the Ferry.

The Houlihans Memorial Cup Final was a repeat of this season's Veronica Conway Cup as Queens Park squared up to Rock Ferry Social once again.

In a close fought match the game went into extra time were the Queens had a little more to offer and eventually scored the match winner through striker Andy Bolton.

Rob Courtney and Jay Atherton also scored for the Queens with Jamie Kenyon netting a brace for Rock Ferry.

New Ferry Wirral Hotel claimed their biggest win of the season on Sunday.

Bottom side Bushell Athletic were the opponents and New Ferry put them to the sword running out 11-1 winners.

Mikey Jones clinched four and the match ball ahead of team-mate Gary Squibb who netted a hat-trick.

Peter Charles claimed two with singles for Davis and Smith completing a great day. Morgan delivered a Bushell consolation.

The Towers were still celebrating their League and Cup double when Shaftsbury A came into town. Although Craig Smith was on target the Towers were crumbled 2-1 thanks to strikes from Brian Cullen and John Atkinson.

Shore Villa who have now made it back-to-back promotions had already claimed the Division Two title before Sunday's 7-3 away win against Rangers Breaks.

Tom Kellock, Mark Redmond, Leigh Carter and Mike Walker all got one goal each before goal machine Adam Lea collected the match ball following a delicious hat-trick.

A Greg Beardsley penalty and a double from defender Steve Swanick gave the Breaks something to cheer.

Comecon inflicted revenge and the three points that looks like making them champions of Division Three in a 3-1 win at home to nearest rivals Sea Dog. Dave Curran, Tom Mairs and James Knox got the goals and that was after Ste Bailey had given Sea Dog the lead.

Neston Athletic and Ellesmere Port played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Matty Scott, Mike Davidson and Keni Chan scored for the Port, with Tom Broughton (2) and Chris Higgins the Neston marksmen.

Dave McKeown and Tom Ellison delivered the three points for Millcroft as the Purple Army won 2-1 away at Primrose Celtic who had defender Alan 'Fishy' Kelly on target.

In the Youth Division Vauxhall Youth clinched a narrow 1-0 win at home to Eastham Rangers. Owen Davies drove home the only goal of the game. Ashville Youth and Ashville Colts played out a 2-2 draw in the Villa derby.

Kyle Davies and Ben Cowan had the Champions ahead before strikes from Matty Ross and Keith Lewis claimed a share of the spoils.
