WIRRAL golf pro Andrew Ayre is helping to broaden people's technical knowledge of the royal and ancient game by offering free lessons in the weeks leading up to the Open Championship at Hoylake.
Thirty-seven-year-old Andrew, a pro at Leasowe Golf Club for the past 10 years, said the offer of one free lesson was open to people of all ages until the end of June.
Andrew has been helped in his endeavour by the English Golf Union, which has contributed special posters for distribution at local schools and sports centres.
