TRANMERE Rovers defender Ben Hockenhull’s loan at Southport has been extended to the end of the season.
Hockenhull joined the National League North side initially for a month and has helped the Sandgrounders keep four clean sheets in seven appearances.
22-year-old Hockenhull featured for Tranmere throughout pre-season and in the Cheshire Senior Cup this season.
He spent time on loan at Warrington Rylands last year, before short spells with Chorley and Spennymoor Town this term, also of the National League North.
