A NEW date has been confirmed for the Cammell Laird and Ashville football fixture.
Following a pitch inspection at Ashville Football Club on Tuesday (February 13), it was confirmed that the game with Cammell Laird 1907 FC had to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The game was set to kick off at 7.45pm but due to weather conditions, the club confirmed on social media platform X that it had been cancelled.
The two clubs have since arranged a new date for the fixture.
A spokesperson for Ashville FC said: “Our postponed derby game against Cammell Laird will now take place on Tuesday 19th March with kick off set at 7:45pm.
“Tickets for this match are on sale now at http://ashvillefc.com/tickets Pay on the day will also be available."
