FIRE crews were called to the Woodside Hotel in Birkenhead last night after a huge blaze swept through the building.
Ground, first and second floors were affected and it took six fire crews to contain the fire, which is believed to have started at around 7pm.
No-one was injured and the police are investigating the cause of the fire.
