NOT having voted in any election whatsoever since 1970, when 18 year olds were given the chance to show their political views, which have been disillusioned by all other aspiring MPs/PMs, I came upon a refreshing article in The Globe concerning Janet Wilkinson.

Her remarks about her party containing right wing members, Ed Miliband not being a popular leader, the Labour party needing to change, Frank Field being a Tory and reintroducing the theory of Marxism, all of which made me think, at last somebody with the guts to stand up say it how it is.

Somebody who is forthright and controversial, but not liberal with the truth.

This attitude could revolutionise the decaying socialism of this country.

But alas, the illusion was quickly & cruelly shatttered.

The last paragraph contained a grovelling apology concerning her comments on Twitter.

Once again showing some of these politicians do not have the courage of their convictions.
