Armed robbers threaten workers with gun
ARMED robbers targeted a Wirral supermarket and threatened staff with a gun.
The incident happened at around 9pm yesterday at the Co-Operative store, Mount Road, Rock Ferry.
Two men entered the shop wearing balaclavas and threatened workers before stealing a small amount of cash.
Police say the staff members were uninjured but left distressed by their ordeal.
CCTV from the store is being examined and forensic enquiries are on-going.
