Neil Scales stands down as Merseytravel chief
Neil Scales has tendered his resignation as chief executive and director general of Merseytravel.
It is understood that from spring next year, Mr Scales will be chief executive of TransLink, the public transport authority in Brisbane, Australia. A statement from Merseytravel is expected shortly.
