A Wallasey man was taken to hospital suffering fractures after he was in collision with a motorbike at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 6pm, on Saturday, in Borough Road, Seacombe.
The man, who is believed to be in his 50s, was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital to be treated for a fractured pelvis and knee-cap.
The teenage motorcyclist was treated for concussion. Police say he had failed to stop at the scene and was traced by officers.
Police closed off the road until 8.25pm.
