Tranmere Rovers scored either side of the break to record a 2-0 win against Wycombe Wanderers at Prenton Park.
Enoch Showunmi opened the scoring early on the nine minute mark, netting his first goal of the season from close range.
Les Parry’s injury list nightmare continued when new Rovers loan signing, Ryan Donaldson, brought in a day earlier from Newcastle United, limped off on the 24 minute mark.
Wycombe started the second half brightly, until Ash Taylor’s glancing header wrong footed Wycombe keeper Nikki Bull on the hour mark.
Tranmere dominated the match throughout and Wycombe failed to find a breakthrough as they fell to their fifth successive defeat.
Rovers sit tenth in the NPower League One table with fourteen points.
