A WOMAN was freed from her car following a two-vehicle collision in Rock Ferry.
Crews from Birkenhead and Bromborough and a special rescue team from Croxteth traffic accident team were called to the scene, at the junction of New Chester Road and Bedford Road just before 8pm on Thursday.
Firemen used cutting equipmment to free a 35-year-old woman from one of the vehicles.
She was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital along with another woman who was suffering from shock and cuts and bruises and a man who sustained a leg injury during the collision.
