CLEVELAND Street in Birkenhead is closed to traffic following a fire at a car parts firm this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to Neptune Car Spares at around 3pm to reports of a blaze, involving 10 vehicles.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known and there are no reports of any injuries.
Eyewitnesses recalled seeing a huge ball of flame.
Fire crews are still at the scene. A fire service spokesman said investigations into the cause of the blaze will begin once it has been put out.
