Elderly Wirral woman is 'stable' in hospital following collision
A WOMAN is being treated for head injuries and a broken leg following a collision in Wallasey this morning.
Police were called to Poulton Road at its junction with Walsingham Road at around 11.55am, following a report of a collision between a female pedestrian and a silver Honda car.
The woman, believed to be in her 60s, has been taken to hospital for treatment for head injuries and a broken leg. She is in a stable condition.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
