A GROUP of 25 children from Wirral have returned from Llanberris in North Wales following a team-building exercise.
Organised by Wirral Partnership Homes in partnership with police, the trip was used as a diversionary activity during the summer holidays and children enjoyed kayaking and rock climbing in beautiful surroundings.
Dominic Tulley, Tenancy Enforcement Officer for WPH, said: "It was great to see the kids making friends and helping each other."
Inspector Roger Hatton from Moreton Police Station, said: "The day went a long way to improve attitudes from the youngsters towards the Police and Wirral Partnership Homes.
"We look forward to any further events and to an even closer working partnership in the future."
Due to the positive feedback received from children and parents, WPH is planning further diversionary activities centred around half term and Halloween, when crime and anti-social behaviour in certain areas tend to increase.
