LIKE a lot of other people, I was disillusioned with the care and treatment that people received at Arrowe Park Hospital until I was admitted there after a road traffic accident.
Having spent the last eight weeks there four of them in a coma in the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) I now have a totally different opinion of the hospital.
The staff are conscientious, hard working and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I would especially like to thank all the staff on ITU for saving my life and showing such care and compassion, not only to me but also to my wife, son, family and friends.
My thanks also to all the staff in A&E, High Dependency and wards 15, 16 and 26.
My opinion of Arrowe Park Hospital has changed. I hope other people's do so and that we all learn to appreciate what a great NHS we have.
