DOES anyone in Wirral area have a relative who died in the First World War who is buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery in the Ypres area of Belgium?
I am organising a trip to the Battlefields for 35 of our senior pupils in July this year and we would like to lay a wreath and pay our respects to fallen soldiers from this area when we visit Tyne Cot.
If you know he is buried there, it doesn't matter if you don't have the exact location as the authorities will help us to find it once we have a name.
Our tour takes in several museums and monuments as well as the chance to hear the Last Post one evening at the Menin Gate.
We plan to ask our pupils to produce some poetry and writing on the trip.
