WIRRAL cricket clubs have set up a 20/20 competition for the coming season.
Matches are to be played on weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
The sides initially making up the league are Oxton, New Brighton, Caldy, Irby, Birkenhead St Mary's and Tranmere Vics.
Wirral say they will join in 2007.
Clubs wishing to link up can contact Irby secretary Jim Penwill.
