Birkenhead & Wirral AF League with Alan Ravenscroft
THE Birkenhead and Wirral AF League are adding two new divisions to their existing league format - a Youth Division and an Under-16 Division.
The decisions come in the wake of the hugely successful five-a-side beach soccer tournaments, held each Summer at New Brighton.
"We are frequently requested to offer leagues for younger clubs," said league secretary Joe Rooney. "We are now taking further applications for our new divisions and also our existing men's Saturday afternoon divisions."

Meanwhile, in this week's Regent Cup semi-finals, Black Horse Wallasey advanced to the final with a convincing 4-0 win over Admiral. Leeroy Williamson was in brilliant form and netted a hat-trick. Wes Hyndes completed the scoring.
Black Horse will now meet last year's cup winners, One O'Clock Gun, who overcame Future FC 3-1 with goals from mid-fielder John Harrison, Jamie Edwards and Colin Davies. Paul Deavey replied for Future.
Division One title contenders Willaston and Parkfield came head-to-head - and it was 10-man Willaston who edged a 2-1 victory, with goals from Ian Hobday and Mike Docherty. Ian McGraa replied.
