Millhouse hit double figures

PREMIER Division action saw Millhouse grind Premier Social down with an emphatic 10-1 destruction, thanks mainly to five goals from Danny Croxon and John Skeggs, 2, Dave Brown, Peter Atherton and Gary Edwards. Leaders Nelson Vics drew 1-1 with old foes St Josephs, but still second are Poulton Royal Dale after their 4-1 defeat of St Mary's, with Justin Broadbent, Jason Broadbent, Les Edwards and Lee McWilliams on target. Hilbre Court also won 4-1 against the Queens, with Matthew Rimmer, Paul Wright, and Dave O'Shaughnessy on target.

Top game in Division One saw Armchair gain ground on leaders Telegraph courtesy of Dave Roberts goal, but Gorsedale continued their strong challenge winning 5-3 away to Windsor. Parkfield recorded a good 2-1 win against 27 Club, with Steve Scott and an own goal registering.

A goal apiece from George Parry, Darren Kirkham, Dave Charlesworth and Howard Bevan secured the points for Vanser Club as they beat title contenders Harvest 4-2 in Division Two. Pilot Boat continued their fine form with a 5-4 defeat of Lord Nelson and Brackenwood took the spoils, beating Rose & Crown in a 4-3 thriller, with John Hibell, Kevin Birch and Peter McGhee, 2, on target.

Lighthouse claimed top spot in Division Three with a 4-3 win over Cloverbeck, with Paul Potts, 2, Chris Evans and Dave Robertson on target. Matt Bryant, Stuart Tuffin and John Jones replied.
