AN OPEN Day sports event is being held at Neston Recreation Centre to raise awareness of sports opportunities for young people.
The event will open at 1pm on Sunday, February 9, and run until 8pm. Young people between the ages of 11 and 18 are invited to try a range of sports through games and taster sessions, from a full programme of activities which include archery, aerobics, basketball, trampolining, martial arts, roller disco, roller hockey, fitness suite and much more. Everything is free of charge, including professional coaching.
The Open Day provides a focus for sport in the area with opportunities to find out what is available locally and how to get involved in club activities.
