MARKETING Executive Jim Burns, of Hoylake, has been named Martin Dawes Telecommunications' Employee of the Month for January.
Jim, who joined the company in 1995, was nominated for the award by Managing Director David Goldie, in recognition of his work on the company's new literature.
Mr Goldie highlighted the reasons for Jim's win. "In launching our new company newsletter, The Voice, and also developing Good Connections - a quarterly catalogue for up-to-the-minute information on company tariffs and products - Jim has developed a new generation of company literature for our company," he said.
"Both publications are good to look at and feature useful information communicated in a refreshing, modern style. I know the amount of work that goes into such communications and Jim has definitely risen to the task."
