TWO hundred and fifty lucky Globe readers last night had a preview of the new B and Q Warehouse at Wallasey, near Bidston Moss, which opens at 7am on Friday February 7.
Readers quickly snapped up the exclusive offer of preview tickets plus the chance to win £200 in prize vouchers.
Our counter staff at Globe House were caught in the rush, which reflects public interest in the new B and Q Warehouse, twice the size of Wembley football pitch.
It is so big that they have actually built houses inside to help display the tens of thousands of products on sale. There are also trade counters plus specialist staff.
The new store creates 250 jobs and the general manager is Jon Dorsett. The store will be open seven days a week with parking for over 600 vehicles.
It is at an easily reached location off Junction One of the M53 Motorway, Wallasey.
