From Judith Moore:-WHILE on a bus journey recently, I noticed a 10-year-old boy fooling around. When our bus stopped at traffic lights the boy proceeded to throw an object, smashing the bus window. Had anybody been sitting by this window, they would have been seriously injured.
I can't help but question the whereabouts of the parents of this child, and for that matter other young children who are similarly getting into mischief.
Do these parents care so little for the behaviour of their children, or are they convinced they have 'angels'?
No! I believe these parents do not teach respect for life or property. The reasons for such anti-social attitudes stem within the home environment. I suggest that parents do not let their young children out unsupervised. They should ensure that their children are kept safe from harm at all times.
To all parents and children, I say: 'Life is too short to jeopardise or cause distress to others, learn to value yourselves, then you will place a higher value on others.
'Safety is primary to everybody'.
