From Richard Globe, Merseyside Branch, Small Landlords Association:- THE Government is proposing to reduce housing benefits payments for single DSS claimants under the age of 60, from this October.
As such a move would more certainly put some small residential landlords out of business and affect these claimants, the Merseyside Branch of the Small Landlords Association intends to lodge an objection against such a proposal on behalf of all local landlords.
The SLA is asking for all landlords to please telephone their office on 0151 280 8080 or 0973 863007 to discuss the situation in more detail.
