THE SWINGIEST musical in town will be on stage at the Liverpool Empire from February 24 - and you could be swinging along with them, courtesy of the Globe

Coming to the Empire before its West End opening, Tapping Harlem is a slick tale of a young tap maestro dancing on street corners, his rise to fame and slump into oblivion.

Running until Saturday, March 1, this vibrant musical evokes the 1930s atmosphere at the world-famous Apollo theatre in Harlem. The musical reflects a time when late nights were spent tapping away to tunes from Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holliday.

Tapping Harlem is written and directed by Johnny Worthy, himself a star of many West End musicals, including Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar.

In true Mervyn Conn style, we are presented with a host of memorable songs and production numbers performed by a wonderfully talented company.

Tickets cost £5.50 to £16.50 from 709-1555. But we have three pairs of tickets to give away for Wednesday, February 26.

To enter, write your answer to the following question on a postcard together with your name, address and daytime 'phone number and send it to Tapping Harlem Competition, Wirral Globe, Globe House, Catherine Street, Birkenhead, L41 6HW, to reach us by February 13, when the first three correct entries drawn at random will win. Don't forget to include your address and a contact telephone number.

And here's your question: Harlem is a district of which American city?
