INWARD, the regional development agency for North West England, has appointed John Burrows OBE as Chief Executive, succeeding Basil Jeuda, who retired.
Mr Burrows has been in the chemical industry for 25 years, working primarily in the water treatment business.
Commented Mr Burrows: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to take on this new challenge at such a critical time on the inward investment stage in North West England."
Mr Burrows was born in Chester and has two sons. He was awarded the OBE in the 1996 New Years Honours list for his contribution to the economic development of North West England and will be joining INWARD in February.
