Neston beat Radbroke Hall 4-1 in the Cheshire Ladies' Squash League.Neston proved to have luck on their side as they were fighting relegation. This was a game they had to win. Kathy Tyler, Kate Thorn, Emma Wooley and Kay Greene won their matches.
Results (Neston first): Kathy Tyler beat Sarah Pook 3-1 (9-7, 9-5, 6-9, 9-4); Kate Thorn beat Julie Postlethwaite 3-1 (9-4, 9-5, 5-9, 9-5); Emma Wooley beat Shiela Hays Prater 3-0 (3-5 retired); Joan Fahy lost 1-3 to Clare Church (4-9, 5-9, 9-4, 6-9); Kay Greene beat Julie Moore 3-1 (9-7, 9-7, 5-9, 9-0).
