Parkdale captain Matthew Rathe was presented with the Houlihan's Sunday Soccer League Division Two trophy after securing a 1-0 win over FC Vale. Chris Adamson netted. Phil Sheard was on target again as FC Bluebell drew 1-1 with Neston, for whom Graham Siggs replied. Goals for Shane Hill, 3, Graham Moore and Glen Williams gave Horse & Jockey a 5-2 win at St John's Celtic.

Robbie Mathieson, John Mallen and Steve Davis were right on cue for Club Octel as they beat Hilbre Wharf 3-2, to earn themselves a place in the final of the Colhart Cup against Bebington RAFA, who beat Bromborough Hotel 2-1, thanks to strikes by Tony Carr and Paul Gallagher.

In the Houlihan's Challenge Cup, Queens Park beat SDV 2-1 with goals from Joe Murray and Peter Robinson. Tony Malloy replied. Jason Berry and David Mayes scored for Pilot in their 2-1 victory over Dock. Archers won 5-3 at Woodchurch and in the only all-First Division tie, Ship Inn beat St Cecilia's 3-0, with Les Lucas, Danny Croxton and Ian McMullen on target.

The only Premier game saw KEL beat Higher Bebington RBL 5-0, with goals from Graham Ellison, Brian Davin, Andrew Slight, Mike Harris and Steve Shaw.

In the First Division, Trafalgar Rangers beat FC Greasby 5-1, while Shaftesbury Seniors won 3-1 at Sea Dog, Martin Dillon, Dave Gates and Steve Simon on target.

In Group A of the Third Division Cup, Windmill Yth beat Pyramid 6-1 with goals from Eddie Downey, 3, Barry Williams, 2, and Mike Burn.

In Division Four, Fairfield (Mike Cheeseman, Ian Ockenhall and Ritch Hellen) drew 3-3 with Grosvenor. Houlihan's Variety won 2-0 at Lord Raglan, with goals from Neil Malone and John Rimmer.

In the Youth Division, Mike Rilley netted five times for Shaftesbury Yth as they hit Shore Villa for 10 without reply. Ten man Young Lions pulled off a superb victory away to Willaston with goals from Gary Hayes and Graham Neery.
