WIRRAL AC had a team of boys taking part in the Under-11 finals of the North West Sports Hall Competition at Sutton St. Helens.
The Wirral boys, in the face of opposition which included local rivals Liverpool Harriers and Whitby Heath, performed well and with great enthusiasm, notching up some good results, with first places in several events.
Results: Sitting throw - 1, David Bulley and Stuart Hardman; Vertical Jump - 1, Adam Heslop and Liam Harvey; Soft Javelin - 1, Michael Kennedy and David Bulley; One lap pairs race - 3, Brendan Kennedy and Michael Kennedy; 'Over and Under' Relay - 1, Brendan Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Stuart Hardman and Adam Heslop.
